Introduction to our IHT roadshow

In November, Downing in partnership with Tax Efficient Review and Technical Connection are embarking on a nationwide tour! We will be travelling to 7 different locations across the UK, engaging with advisers to discuss various aspects of inheritance tax planning.

We are thrilled to have the expertise of Hugh Rogers from Tax Efficient Review and Tony Wickenden from Technical Connection who are joining us on this journey. Together, we will explore the latest trends in the inheritance tax solutions space. Additionally, Downing will provide insights into the property and energy market in the UK.

Our events will span between 2-3 hours, including either lunch or breakfast (depending on the area).

Attendance qualifies for two hours of CPD.

Hugh Rogers

Hugh Rogers has over twenty years of experience of working within the tax efficient market and is currently the Director of Tax Efficient Review which he joined in 2019. Tax Efficient Review focuses on providing a high level of service to their clients, undertaking comparative research within each sector of the tax efficient market and comparing historic performance.

Tony Wickenden

Tony Wickenden has over thirty-five years in the financial services sector. The last twenty-six years spent running and developing Technical Connection. Tony provides relationship, project and thought leadership in serving his institutional and adviser clients. This includes the design and implementation of tax planning and marketing solutions and strategies for product providers, platforms and fund management groups.

Nick Priest

With over seventeen years experience in financial services, Nick joined Downing in 2015 as a Business Development Manager. Prior to that, he worked for Canada Life with a focus on offshore and IHT products in the London area. Nick is DipPFS qualified and he previously worked in third way investments and as an adviser at Barclays.
