Downing's annual IHT roadshow: Mastering risk in estate planning
Following on from the success of our IHT Roadshow last year, we’ll be hitting the road again this October, travelling to 7 different locations across the UK to discuss the different facets of risk when it comes to estate planning.
We are excited to be joined by Tony Wickenden from Technical Connection and Matt Ward from AKG Financial Analytics Ltd, who, along with our AIM IHT & Development Capital investment teams, will be providing valuable insights, real-life case studies and actionable solutions for advisers and paraplanners.
Topics will include:
- Understanding and navigating the legislative and tax context you are working in
- Picking the right IHT solution for your client to match their circumstances and risk appetite
- Picking the right provider, by understanding their approach and exposure to risk
- Understanding how our investment team approach risk within the markets, sectors, companies and people they invest in
- And finally, ensuring the continuity of your business by having a robust intergenerational strategy in place to advise the next generation
Our events will run between 2-3 hours, including either lunch or breakfast (depending on the location).
Attendance qualifies for two hours of CPD.
Please note: these events are for financial advisers and paraplanners only.
